The app menu
Six places, always at the top (at the bottom on phones): Home, Plan (your Shine Plan habits), Check-In, Coach (chat and group Q&A, on plans that include them), Reports and Settings.Tip: A red dot on Coach means your coach has replied and you haven't read it yet.
- 2
Greeting and next check-in
When your next Shine Check-In is due, based on how often you chose to check in. When the day comes, it says “due now” and a Take check-in button appears here. - 3
Next group Q&A
On the Monthly and Weekly Expert plans: your next live session on Zoom, with its date and title. Join now appears 15 minutes before it starts; until then, See sessions opens the full list. - 4
Today
Every habit in your Shine Plan, ready to tick off for today, so you don't have to open the full plan. All habits → opens the whole week. - 5
Tick circle
Tap to mark a habit done today; it fills in with the habit's area colour. Habits you do several times a day show your count (1/3) and add one per tap. Tap a filled circle to undo.Tip: Try it: the circles on this sample screen work.
- 6
This week and streak
“3/5 days this week” is how many days you've done the habit so far this week, against your target. 🔥 is your current streak: days in a row for daily habits, or weeks in a row that hit the target for weekly ones. - 7
Health Wheel
Your 8 areas of health as spokes. The coloured shape is your latest check-in and the dashed outline is the one before, so you can see what grew. The rings mark 33%, 66% and 100%.Tip: Hover over (or tap) an area's dot to see its score and what it was last time.
- 8
Shine Score
The average of your 8 area scores, out of 100. The colour and label show its tier: Low (0–33), Medium (34–66) or High (67–100). - 9
Focus areas
Your three lowest areas right now, with their scores. They're where a small habit makes the biggest difference, so they're what the app suggests habits for after each check-in. - 10
Latest report
Opens the progress report written after your most recent check-in.

Dictionary

Progress
Which of the 8 areas you're on, how many of the 32 questions you've answered, and a bar with one segment per area that fills in each area's colour as you go. - 2
The area
Its icon, name and a short explanation of what it covers and why it matters. The 8 areas are Sleep, Exercise, Nutrition, Mental Wellbeing, Stress Management, Hydration, Medical Checkups and Flexibility & Mobility. - 3
Questions
Four questions per area, 32 in all, from Lacey Rochelle's Wheel of Health. The whole check-in takes about 5 minutes. - 4
Answers
Four answers per question, best first. They score 3 (best) down to 0, so each area is out of 12 and shown as a percentage: 9 out of 12 is 75%. Your choice is outlined in the area's colour.Tip: Try it: pick an answer on this sample screen.
- 5
Back and Next
Next unlocks once all four questions in the area are answered. On the last area it becomes “See my Health Wheel”, which scores your answers and writes your progress report. - 6
Once a week at most
Check-ins are at least 7 days apart, so one unusually good or bad day can't skew your scores. Until the next one opens, the Check-In page shows the date and points you to your Shine Plan.

Shine Score
Your overall score out of 100: the average of your 8 areas. The label under it is the tier (Low, Medium or High), shown with an icon as well as a colour. - 2
Health Wheel

- 3
Read my progress report
Opens the report written for this check-in: what changed since last time, which habits are sticking, and what to focus on next. - 4
Suggested habits
Small, specific habits for each of your three focus areas (your lowest scores), with how often to do them. Add puts one straight into your Shine Plan.Tip: Start with one or two. Small and consistent beats ambitious and abandoned.
- 5
Area card
One card for each area: its score and tier, the change since your last check-in (▲ up, ▼ down, ● within 5 points), a bar to 100%, what the area covers, and advice written for your tier. - 6
Tiers
What the colours mean. Low (0–33%): an urgent focus area, time for new routines. Medium (34–66%): room to improve with consistent habits. High (67–100%): a strength to maintain.

Name it (up to 80 characters), pick which of the 8 areas it supports, and choose how often: every day, 2× to 8× a day (like glasses of water), or 1 to 6 days a week.Tip: You can also add suggested habits straight from your check-in results.

The habit
Its name, how often you plan to do it, the area it belongs to (the coloured dot), your current 🔥 streak, and your best streak ever. - 5
Edit and Archive

Dots
One dot per time you plan to do the habit that day. Tap a dot to fill it in the area's colour; tap a filled dot to undo. A 3× a day habit gets 3 dots a day.Tip: Try it: tap the dots on this sample plan.
- 7
Days still to come
Dashed dots are future days. They open on the day, so you can't tick ahead. - 8
This week's tally
Days done this week against your target, like 3/5. It turns green with a ✓ once you hit the target. This is also what your progress report's habit consistency is built from.
